Grandville Robotics is the organization that manages robotics teams for elementary and middle school aged children from Grandville Public Schools. The teams are coached by parent volunteers and compete in Jr. FIRST Lego League, FIRST Lego League, VEX IQ at the elementary level and VEX EDR at the middle school level.

FIRST Lego League Junior (FLL Jr.)

The Grandville robotics program is excited to offer Lego League Jr. for students in 2nd and 3rd grade at any Grandville elementary school.    All Grandville Lego League Jr. teams meet at the Grandville Robotics & Engineering Center.  More more information, check out our page dedicated to FIRST Lego League Junior

FIRST Lego League (FLL)

The Grandville robotics program offers FIRST Lego League for students from 4th through 6th grade at any Grandville elementary school.   Students are teamed up with other members from their elementary school and the team creates a robot and project to solve the current mission.  Teams meet in their respective elementary school with a volunteer coach.    Learn more about FIRST Lego League on our information page.

VEX IQ

VEX IQ is offered to students from 4th through 6th grade at any Grandville elementary school.  VEX IQ teams of students are tasked with designing and building a robot to play against other teams in a game-based engineering challenge.   Teams are put together with students from their own elementary schools and practice with a volunteer coach.  More information about VEX IQ can be found on our information page.

VEX VRC

VEX VRC is for students in 7th and 8th grade at Grandville Middle School.  Teams of students are tasked with designing and building a robot to play against other teams in a game-based engineering challenge. Classroom STEM concepts are put to the test as students learn lifelong skills in teamwork, leadership, communications, and more.   Practice is held at the Robotics and Engineering Center and students are put on teams with four or six other middle school students.   Find out more about the VEX VRC program at the middle school on our information page.
